Medtronic Canada is thrilled to be celebrating International Women’s Day by sharing the news that it made the 2022 list for Canada’s Best Workplaces™ for Women, for the third consecutive year with Great Place to Work®.

For many years, diversity and inclusion have been an important focus at Medtronic, which has an active women’s network, employee-led networking circles, and mentoring programs. The company is proud to be recognized for its commitment to empowering women to lead at all levels. Women account for over 50% of all employees and 54% of the Canadian Leadership Team.

In honour of International Women’s Day, employees are sharing their commitment to #BreakTheBias. These include celebrating women’s achievements and challenging gender stereotypes, discrimination, and bias. The company’s Women’s Network is also offering training on unconscious bias, leadership panels, and mentoring sessions throughout the entire month of March, recognizing that the conversation to maintain a gender equal mindset must be ongoing.
