BRAMPTON, Ontario – December 4, 2020 – Medtronic Canada ULC, a subsidiary of Medtronic plc (NYSE:MDT), has been recognized by MediaCorp. as one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers for 2021, for the second consecutive year.
This recognition comes on the heels of last month's distinction as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers. The competition reviews which employers lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces and the most progressive and forward-thinking programs for their employees.
The COVID-19 global pandemic has forced many companies to look at how they can continue to meet their customers' needs. Medtronic's commitment to supporting its customers, patients, and employees is being noticed for its timely transition to working remotely, and for its virtual monitoring and training platforms. Josh Tarini, manager of education, training, and StartRight, immediately identified the need to adapt the company's patient training and education programs to an online format to continue supporting the diabetes community.
